Instructions
A 26-year-old woman with active injection drug use is evaluated in the clinic for management of a localized skin abscess. She undergoes an incision and drainage of the abscess and receives oral antimicrobial therapy. At a follow-up visit 1 week later she is improved and at that time the clinic performs an OraQuick HCV Rapid Antibody Test and a reactive result is obtained. At this point you need to decide what to do next.
